Hello! Welcome to All Things Simple! We are two simple sisters living over 2800 miles apart; Kari lives in Idaho and Kimarie lives in warm and sunny Florida (oh sorry, did I rub that in?). We grew up on a farm in Eastern Idaho. We are very blessed to have parents who taught us how to work hard and be creative with what we have. We both have a passion for the simple things of life. We enjoying creating, rather it be in the workshop, kitchen, yard, or in our own souls, we always strive to make the little things count! We began this blog primarily to help motivate, encourage, and give one another ideas and inspiration! We hope you can also take something from this blog and enjoy the simple things of life! Hi Everyone~ Its Kari, welcome to All Things Simple. A Little about me, I'm married to a Awesome guy who is also my handyman on many projects, he's Awesome to help out (I'm still a little nervous around the table saw).... We have four great kids, three boys and one girl. I work outside the home and also coach gymnastics two nights a week, I love it.
In my spare time I LOVE to craft, almost as much as I love to shop. I love, ,love making old things new, I have i guess kind of an addiction to decorating (but on a budget), I like country, cottage and even a little traditional.. I love to find old doors and windows to make furniture out of..
My dream would be to go on American Pickers, watching them is how I feel finding some great find at a yard sell to run home and fix up (of course on a lower scale).. haahaa!!
I'm always working on something new, or painting and distressing, If i could make crafts and just decorate all day, I'd be a happy girl.
Hey- It’s Kimarie, I am a very blessed woman! I love so many things; love to cook and bake, love to remodel, refurbish and repurpose, love to craft and make something special out of something ordinary, I am a true DIYer. Can’t seem to get myself to pay full price for anything! There is always a deal out there if you look for it! I love to help and motivate others to find their passion and create a life of joy and pleasure. I also love to study, learn and research. I’m striving to build my knowledge in Health, Fitness (exercise), nutrition, all things spiritual, raising kids to be strong confident, compassionate, and driven aldults, finding and maintaining balance in life (which is different for each of us) and anything else which is intriguing to me. I am married to an extraordinary man that does not always understand my little projects, but does always support me in them. He is an amazing DIYer himself and can usually build almost anything I draw or dream up. We enjoy working on projects together. We are so blessed with 3 beautiful girls who are the light of our lives and also the test of our patience and faith. As a family we love to work hard and play hard!
